Main Building

The Main Building is where it all started. Over the years this building became the focal point for the Museum. Gradually, other buildings were opened as well.

The pictures posted here are not meant to provide you a tour, by any means! We hope these are just enough of a tease to provide enough incentive to be sure to visit our Museum - and it's many buildings. This page is dedicated to just our main house of the Williams House Museum.

There is so much history and glimpse's into the past of DeKalb that one must go beyond these tiny pictures so you can visit and see the real displays and live a part of our DeKalb, Texas history!

It all starts right here in our Main Building. We are located right on Rt 82 in downtown DeKalb, just 2 blocks east from the traffic light at Runnels and Rt 82.
